Laramie, WY— Firehole Technologies, Inc, specialists in composite structural analysis, has announced Mr. William "Bill" Wright is joining the Laramie, WY based company as its Director of Commercial Products and Engineering. Chief among Bill’s duties at Firehole will be to serve as the company’s primary interface with leading aerospace companies with a focus on delivering analytical, technical and design support for their composite structures.
"Bill has a direct understanding of our client’s needs and a history of high-end composite material engineering. With his direction, we can extend our relationships with leading firms in the aerospace industry, making it even easier for our customers to take full advantage of composites" said Jerad Stack, Firehole’s CEO.
Bill comes from a technical aerospace and managerial background. He joins Firehole from Orbital Sciences Corporation, a renowned rocket-building and launch services organization. At Orbital, Bill began his career as a composite analyst, soon becoming Manager for the Environments, Thermal, Structural and Dynamics Groups. During the last 6 years of his tenure, Bill served as the Director of Mechanical Engineering for Orbital. That post involved him leading large teams in all aspects of rocket design and analysis. "We look forward to tapping into Bill’s experience and his extensive network in the aerospace industry," said Firehole's VP of Business Development, Jason Gies.
Wyoming has been home for Bill for a major portion of his life. Air Force Officers each, he and his father both graduated from the University of Wyoming with Mechanical Engineering Degrees. Bill went on to receive his MS Degree at UW. With a passion for composites, he studied there under some of the same professors that are principal technical advisors for Firehole today.
Of his new endeavor, Wright said "I can’t tell you how excited I am to be a part of a Wyoming-based technical team. Firehole is an energetic collection of multi-faceted talents; they’ve got drive, they’re on the leading edge, and I want to be a part of their success story,"
