InnovMetric Software Inc will demonstrate the latest intermediate release of PolyWorks V11 at EuroMold 2009, a trade fair held from December 2nd to December 5th in Frankfurt, Germany.
A hybrid metrology solution is one that offers the flexibility of combining high-density point cloud digitizers and tactile probing devices within the same measurement task, ensuring optimal accuracy and speed in all circumstances. Leading the field of industrial point-cloud-based inspection for nearly 10 years, InnovMetric has developed and released in 2009 an outstanding set of new functionalities for tactile probing, including:
• A new flexible Digital Readout (DRO) with configurable appearance and contents, statistics, and tolerancing
• A powerful Build/Inspect mode for measurement-driven assembly
• Guided six surface points and RPS alignment techniques
• Real-time bundle adjustment for large volume metrology
• Temperature compensation by specifying material and temperature or by best-fitting targets
