Petah-Tikva, Israel – Two OptiTex developers are scheduled to speak at this year’s GPU Technology Conference in San Jose, California. The GPU Technology Conference will feature over 130 hours of technical sessions and tutorials presented by senior programmers in their respected fields.
The GPU Technology Conference, which is sponsored by NVIDIA, the world’s leader in graphics processing units (GPUs), will focus on the latest breakthroughs developers, engineers, and researchers are achieving with the use of GPUs in solving industry’s most important computing challenges.
“Truly outstanding tech start-ups from more than a dozen countries that rely on GPUs for their solutions will be on full display at this important event,” said Jeff Herbst, NVIDIA’s vice president of business development. “We are delighted that OptiTex is among this elite field and are certain that their achievements will be of keen interest to our audience.”
Gadi Zadikoff, VP of OptiTex’s R&D division will be presenting at the Emerging Companies Summit on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. in the Cupertino Room of the Fairmont Hotel. Zadikoff will present “OptiTex Virtual Try on Engine.” Exploring OptiTex’s computing challenges when synthetically reproducing accurate 3D models of clothing items for heightened user experience.
Eri Rubin, Head of the CUDA Project for OptiTex is slated to speak October 2, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. in the Glen Ellen Room at the Fairmont Hotel.
Rubin will present “3D Triangular Mesh Algorithms on the GPU”. Participants of this session will benefit from OptiTex's practical experience in ways of dealing with the problems deriving from the lack of predefined vertex locality for triangular mesh topologies. Participants will hear about the different solutions the R&D team at OptiTex came up with and used to solve real life problems.
