Dr. Alister Simpson (PhD, MENG, AMIMECHE) has joined the CFD team of Wilde, the Stockport based FEA, CFD and Reliability Engineering solution specialists.
Alister brings with him a wealth of experience of fluid dynamics in aerospace and general mechanical applications. His last job, before joining Wilde, was for a company designing turbo-machinery in association with Queen’s University, Belfast.
“I am delighted to be working at Wilde as they serve a diverse range of sectors from process and off-shore through to nuclear. This will make my role both varied and challenging”, comments Alister.
Wilde’s CFD Technical Director, Dr. Simon Leefe, said of the appointment “We are continually expanding our CFD portfolio and Alister’s appointment will strengthen our client offering. He will be involved in supporting our ANSYS CFX and ANSYS Fluent activities, including demonstrations, benchmarking, training and consulting, and is a welcome addition to the existing team”.
