CMI Wins Top Honors from Autodesk for Sales Performance, Customer Service, Client Education and Contributions to the Design Community.
ALEXANDRIA - CADD Microsystems, Inc. has been awarded Reseller of the Year by Autodesk for FY10, from among more than 100 resellers in North America. The award was announced at Autodesk's annual global channel partner event, One Team Conference, in Las Vegas, NV, in March. This designation recognizes CADD Microsystems for the growth of its operations, sales performance, dedication to customer service and its investments in the business of providing Autodesk software solutions to the market.
CADD Microsystems' leadership team consists of three fully-involved owners - CEO Jeff Gravatte, President and COO Matt Davoren and CFO Susan Thomson. Together the owners focus the company on providing value to its customers – by raising awareness to the value of software and services, educating customers in the use and application of their software, and creating a community of knowledge among its customers.
"More than just a software reseller, we see ourselves as business partners with our customers," said Davoren, "with equal investment in getting their technology plan exactly where it needs to be to address not only today's needs, but tomorrow's as well."
Looking to the future needs of customers has helped CADD Microsystems stay successful in the ever-evolving marketplace. "Our success in both the government and commercial marketplace, as well as with owners, contractors and all types of design firms, puts us in a unique position to address the growing requirements of Building Information Modeling (BIM)," explains Gravatte. "This market exposure allows us to provide even more value to our customers by providing a team of experts who aggregate the knowledge of successes and 'how-tos' in exchanging BIM models across disciplines and organizations."
"CADD Microsystems is a key partner of Autodesk, serving as a trusted adviser and helping to ensure their customers get the best solution for their design needs," said Steve Blum, senior vice president, Americas sales, Autodesk. "Over the past year, CADD Microsystems has strengthened its commitment to training and education programs, resulting in a 62 percent increase in year-over-year growth. That is a huge achievement, especially in today's challenging economic climate."
This sentiment is also echoed by the ownership at CADD Microsystems. "Working closely with Autodesk is an important pillar in our organization and culture," said Thomson. "Winning Reseller of the Year is the greatest honor for us, as it validates the value we place on our partnership with Autodesk and how we carry that through to our customers. We could not be prouder of what we have achieved."
In addition to earning Reseller of the Year honors, CADD Microsystems won Reseller of the Quarter for Q3 FY10 and for Q1 FY09, and is one of only a few resellers to be recognized two years in a row. Autodesk's Trainer of the Year award for North America in 2008 also went to a CMI instructor, and CMI has been inducted into the Autodesk Platinum Club each year for the past several years.
