Agreement signed to embed MSC.Software simulation technology into LifeModeler software.
SANTA ANA, CA - MSC.Software today announced an important new step in its partnership with LifeModeler, Inc. to fully integrate MSC's Adams software into LifeMOD human modeling and simulation software solutions.
According to a new agreement recently entered into by both companies, the Adams software will be directly embedded into the existing LifeMOD commercial product, and will facilitate the introduction of new LifeMOD products targeted for the academic research and student communities. By integrating MSC Adams software into LifeMOD, biomechanical engineers and scientists will be able to create accurate virtual human models and enable repetitive and rapid testing of medical device designs while minimizing risk, time, and cost from new product development (http://lifemodeler.com/products/lifemod).
"This is a unique opportunity for MSC.Software to expand our biomedical industry reach by partnering with the leader in virtual human modeling", stated John Janevic, VP of Strategic Operations at MSC.Software. "We are proud to work with partners to leverage unparalleled technology in Adams."
"We see enormous potential for LifeMOD to revolutionize biomechanical engineering. As the need for simulation increases, it is essential to select partners, like MSC.Software, that will allow us to innovate and put forward solutions of supreme quality for our clients in various industries including medical, research, and education," said Shawn McGuan, Chief Executive Officer, LifeModeler, Inc.
