Pasadena, CA: Today, Bluebeam is premiering Bluebeam® PDF Revu® 8 to Bentley® User Group members at the annual Be Together Conference, Bentley Systems’ largest user event of the year. Bluebeam is demonstrating its leading PDF creation, markup and editing solutions for the design and construction industry in the conference’s Collaboration Zone.
“Bluebeam PDF Revu 8 is the easiest and most powerful way to implement digital workflows on building projects in PDF,” said Stephani Haynes, Bluebeam Software Director of Marketing. “We are looking forward to demonstrating our end-to-end PDF solution for project communication, with its new direct integration into ProjectWise, to the Bentley Community for the first time.”
Released in February, Bluebeam PDF Revu 8 adds more power to PDF than ever before. The software is loaded with incredibly useful and customizable PDF markup tools such as callouts, text stamps and measurements. These markups make it possible for users to digitize traditionally paper-intensive workflows such as submittals, bids, RFIs and drawing reviews. Revu 8 also makes it easier to work completely electronically by introducing a File Access tab for managing PDFs and seamless integration into Bentley ProjectWise® and Microsoft® SharePoint®. In addition to seeing these new features live in action, conference attendees will be able to sign up to be among the first to use Bluebeam’s latest innovation for project collaboration, releasing in June.
Bluebeam’s live demonstration will be located in the Collaboration Zone, and will feature the software’s comic book superhero and world’s greatest paper eliminator, Mighty Bluebeam. The Be Together Conference is taking place May 17th – 20th at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.
