Munich - The Nemetschek Allplan Campus online portal is celebrating its first birthday. Since May 2009, students of architecture and civil engineering have been able to use allplan-campus.com to download Nemetschek software Allplan and to use e-learning tools free of charge.
Allplan Campus also provides documentation in PDF format and a comprehensive international forum. The forum is particularly popular with the students: "Allplan Campus is an important point of reference for my questions. I always get an answer or a solution very quickly from the forum", says Mike Müller, a student at Stuttgart University of Applied Science.
Allplan Campus has been very successful in a short period of time, even exceeding the expectations of the Allplan Campus team. The number of student licenses has already increased five-fold since the website was started. "We?re very happy about how quickly students have started using Allplan Campus and we?re planning to further extend the portal", says Karin Schmidt, Team Manager of Education at Nemetschek Allplan.
Allplan Campus is currently available in German, English, Italian and Czech. A French version is planned for 2010. On the occasion of the site?s first birthday, the "Software" area was overhauled and made more user-friendly.
