3D Systems Presents Its Breadth Of Additive Manufacturing Capabilities At Rapid 2010

ROCK HILL, South Carolina - 3D Systems announced today that it plans to exhibit and present the benefits of its growing Additive Manufacturing capabilities at the RAPID 2010 Conference and Exposition. The company’s suite of design-to-manufacturing solutions and services will be on display at the Disneyland Hotel May 18-20, 2010 in Booth 403.

The company plans to discuss and share its growing success in this area by delivering a presentation titled ”Using SLS® to Manufacture Aerospace Parts” at the conference. The presentation will be delivered by Scott Turner, 3D Systems’ vice president sales, 3Dproparts and make use of actual customer case studies to highlight 3D Systems’ Rapid Manufacturing experience and success through a series of part examples. 3D Systems has been leading the adoption of large scale custom manufacturing solutions in aerospace, defense, and transportation for over a decade. More recently the company developed rapid manufacturing solutions for a variety of dental and medical device applications. 3D Systems Rapid Manufacturing Solutions are completely transforming Dental Labs and Medical Appliance Manufacturers’ workflow, costs and lead-times away from heavy reliance on labor intensity and craftsmanship and into the digital age.
