Bangalore: Wipro Technologies has announced the appointment of Ayan Mukerji as the Global Head of Product Engineering Services (PES) group and the appointment of Jeffrey Heenan Jalil as the Head of Europe operations.
Ayan will be taking over from V.R Venkatesh and will relocate to California. Jeffrey Heenan Jalil will be taking over the reins from Ayan, who helped the Europe region grow ahead of competition and build a strong and highly localized sales force.
V R Venkatesh who has held multiple leadership positions within the Product Engineering Services business of Wipro Technologies, will now head the newly created Strategic External Innovation Group for Wipro. He will work with start-ups, large corporations, technology consortia and academia in developing innovative solutions for the market place. The scope of these collaborative innovation efforts will span across all the business units that Wipro Technologies supports.

Our External Innovation group will work very closely with the global innovation eco-system and accelerate solution development significantly while taking advantage of emerging technologies. V.R. Venkatesh with his rich experience in product Engineering will bring the needed leadership to this external innovation group".
