BURLINGTON, MA – Inc. magazine has named Z Corporation to its annual ranking of the 5000 fastest-growing private companies in the United States for the second straight year. The list is the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the U.S. economy – independent-minded entrepreneurs. Taken as a whole, these companies represent the backbone of the U.S. economy.
In the past 12 months, Z Corporation released:
* the ZPrinter® 650 color 3D printer for the most demanding applications;
* two new 3D scanners, the ZScanner® 700 PX for scanning very large objects like aircraft and automobiles, and the ZScanner 700 CX for capturing the “whole picture” of an object, including color and texture;
* the zp®150 premium composite build material for tougher 3D printed parts, rich colors and whiter whites.
“Savvy trend spotters and those who invest in private companies know that the Inc. 5000 is the best place to find out about young companies that are achieving success through a wide variety of unprecedented business models, as well as older private companies that are still expanding at an impressive rate,” said Inc. 5000 project manager Jim Melloan. “That’s why our list is so eagerly anticipated every year.”
“It’s great to be honored again this year for our growth and innovation,” said Z Corporation CEO John Kawola. “This is a strong indication of our ability to help a wide range of organizations cut time, cost and errors from their product development and bring better products to market sooner.”
