Chennai – "SolidWorks Innovation Day 2009" - a One Day Conference on Design Sustainability has been launched in Chennai by EGS India, as the part of a series of India-wide Conferences to highlight the importance of Sustainability in Designs. EGS India will conduct the conference next in Coimbatore and Trichy.
Considering the importance of Environmental, Social and Economic impact of Sustainable Designs, EGS India used a case study based approach to bring home the benefits of conservation in Energy, Resources and Materials.
A White Paper titled 'Developing Sustainable Designs for Enduring Value' deliberating on ways and means to achieve design sustainability has been released for the benefit of the Engineering Community.
Tolerance Analysis using SigmundWorks, developed by Varatech Corporation, has been presented for predicting assembly build.
