Tata Technologies has embarked on a strategic initiative with the opening of its new Global Engineering Centre in Bangalore, Karnataka. This reinforces the company’s commitment to offering manufacturing clients innovative solutions for product development from Bengaluru.
Tata Technologies will hire 400 people by March, 2012 which will take its headcount to over 5,000.
The new centre has been envisioned to cater to the growing Tata Technologies global portfolio of clients in the automotive, aerospace and construction/heavy engineering verticals, engaging high-end engineering talent available in Bengaluru.
Commenting on this significant development, Samir Yajnik, President Global Services & COO Asia Pacific said; “Our Bengaluru team has been meeting product development engineering challenges posed by our global clientele in the automotive, aerospace and heavy engineering industries exceedingly well. The new centre is a natural extension of our growth plans around Bengaluru as a base”
