Siemens PLM Software Introduces New Ecosystem for Solid Edge and Femap Application Development Partners

New Initiative Streamlines the Siemens Solution Partner Program for Companies with Software Offerings Complementary to Solid Edge and Femap, While Increasing Partner Visibility and Simplifying Access to Partner Offerings.

Siemens PLM Software has announced the introduction of a new initiative that is being designed to streamline the enrollment and management processes associated with the Siemens Solution Partner Program for companies offering software applications (apps) that work in harmony with Solid Edge® software or Femap™ software, two applications within the Velocity Series™ portfolio of mainstream PLM solutions. This new initiative will establish an “app ecosystem” within the Siemens Solution Partner Program to enhance communication between Siemens PLM Software and its Solid Edge and Femap software development partners, while providing on-line tools for customers that facilitate visibility and access to all partners and their solutions.

And by making partner apps more visible and accessible to our customers, it creates a virtuous cycle for the benefit of both groups.”

Two of the most recent partners to join the new program include Cadenas, a leading software manufacturer in strategic parts management and electronic product catalogs, and Striker Systems, a world leader in the development of sheet metal nesting and CAD/CAM software for CNC punching and profile cutting machines.
