Respected CAE Simulation Software Leaders Join Forces to Provide Customers with Enhanced Manufacturing Simulation Applications.
SANTA ANA, CA - MSC.Software has announced an expanded partnership with Simufact to continue licensing MSC's software technology in order to produce superior simulation software for manufacturing engineers.
According to this agreement, Simufact, a leader in solutions that simulate metal forming and other manufacturing processes, will continue to power their leading Simufact.forming application with MSC Marc and MSC Dytran nonlinear CAE technologies, both used by product engineers around the world. The MSC products will also power the forthcoming Simufact.welding product to be released this summer.
"We are very excited about our partnership with Simufact," said John Janevic, VP of Strategic Operations at MSC.Software. "Both companies have years of experience in the simulation software industry and therefore together can deliver even more value to our customers. We are very excited about the new applications that Simufact will be introducing this year, which embed MSC solutions for simulating critical manufacturing processes."
Michael Wohlmuth, Managing Director of Simufact Engineering GmbH also agrees. "It is important to take advantage of opportunities that will improve the ability for engineers to simulate complex manufacturing processes using computer based methods. Our partnership with MSC is beneficial to product manufacturers as our combined solutions continue to propel technological improvements in this growing area while enabling us to consistently exceed customer expectations."
