AUGSBURG, Germany: CADENAS GmbH’s software solution PARTsolutions received the new certification for Autodesk Inventor 2011 mechanical design and engineering software, which enables manufacturers to move beyond 3D to Digital Prototyping to design, visualize, and simulate products before they are built.
The strategic parts management system by CADENAS successfully passed the certification process of Autodesk, a world leader in 2D and 3D design, engineering and entertainment software. This means that the CADENAS software meets Autodesk’s high quality standards.
Integration of PARTsolutions in Inventor
The Augsburg-based software supplier CADENAS offers interfaces for the new version of the CAD system from Autodesk for its strategic parts management system PARTsolutions. Since 70% of the manipulable overall costs can be retraced back to the development phase, PARTsolutions already begins supporting engineers during the design process. Through the direct connection to ERP and PDM systems, PARTsolutions seamlessly integrates itself into the entire process chain, thus covering the entire product cycle.
“The strategic parts management by CADENAS prevents a part jungle and reduces production costs. At the same time, the software solution speeds up processes in companies”, says Jürgen Heimbach, CEO of CADENAS GmbH.
“CADENAS, a leading software supplier of strategic parts management systems is now certified with Autodesk Inventor,” said Tim Gray, director of Inventor product management at Autodesk. “PARTsolutions integration in Inventor 2011 contributes to accelerating product design and development for our joint customers.”
