Total 3D Scanning Solution Availability
Paris ─ Dassault Systèmes (Nasdaq: DASTY; Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA), a world leader in 3D and product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions, today announced a new reseller agreement with Creaform Inc. for a wide distribution of the total 3D scanning Solution. Aerospace, automotive, and medical engineers and multimedia professionals from any location in Europe will be able to acquire directly from Creaform the complete solution, including equipment as well as software, to reverse-engineer, inspect and optimize their products, also benefiting from Creaform’s support and unique domain expertise.
“With this partnership, Creaform integrates the community of Dassault Systèmes resellers for PLM with a specific value proposal in reverse engineering,” said Laurent Couillard, vice president of PLM sales for North Europe, Dassault Systèmes. “Indeed it complements the existing channel by providing end-to-end best of class 3D Scanning solutions everywhere and contributes to expand our position in the SMB market.”
After the US and Canada agreement, the extension to Europe makes the total solution now available from everywhere, for every SMB customer.
Creaform develops Handyscan’s VxScan, a CAA-based software enabling a real time import of cloud of points scanned by the Handyscan into the standard CATIA data model for 3D scanned data, bridging the virtual and real worlds.
