Transoft Solutions to Meet Increasing Worldwide Demand for Software Products with New Regional Market Focus, New Managing Director, and Incorporation of Australian Base of Operation
Vancouver, BC, Canada : To meet growing international demand for its applications, Transoft Solutions, developers of industry leading design and simulation software for the engineering and architectural communities, announces a re-division of its operations to better serve regional markets around the world. As part of this process, Transoft Solutions has appointed a new Managing Director for the company’s European headquarters in Rotterdam, Netherlands and set up a fully incorporated entity in Sydney, Australia.
“Transoft Solutions is immensely proud of its software as well as its exceptional pre and post sale customer service,” said Milton Carrasco, President and Chief Executive Officer. “Through a re-division of our operations we are looking beyond the current economic downturn. We are planning our continued growth and profitability in addition to preparing for the global release of our new products in 2009.”
Taking effect immediately, Transoft Solutions corporate headquarters, located in Richmond, Canada, will serve clients in North, South and Central America as well as the Caribbean and Hawaiian islands. The re-division of regional markets will see Transoft Solutions (Europe) BV focusing on Europe (including Russia), the Middle-East, and Africa (EMEA); and Transoft Solutions (Australia) Pty., servicing Australasia, China, and India. For current and prospective clients worldwide, this re-dividing of the world’s marketplaces will translate into better, regionally focused sales support.
As the new Managing Director, Gian Vittorio Zandona joins the European operations to build upon already strong sales in the existing markets within Western Europe and the Middle-East to expand market presence in Eastern Europe, Russia, and Africa. “We’ve found in Gian the perfect qualities necessary to meet the forthcoming needs of our current and future client base in the EMEA region,” says Mr. Carrasco. With many years of CAD/CAM experience and familiarity with the Europe, Middle-East, and Africa region, Mr. Zandona, the former Director of New Business for Getronics, brings the solid sales strategy and implementation skills needed for Transoft Solutions to continue to grow.
After developing a presence in Australia and the Asia Pacific region over the past 14 years, the move to Incorporate Transoft Solutions (Australia) Pty. is a logical progression to ensure the clients in the region have access to the latest in Transoft Solutions software while continuing to enjoy the highest quality of service. For the past four years, Business Manager – Asia Pacific, Peter McIntyre has made great strides in expanding the Transoft Solutions brand while creating a solid operational base and servicing leading engineering firms such as Sinclair Knight Merz, Cardno, and Hyder Consulting.
