Waltham, MA – ETRAGE LLC, The Engineering Automation Company, today announced that it has added CATIA V5 and SolidWorks to Plot Service for Windchill (PSW) for the creation of viewable files and CAD Interoperability.
CATIA V5 and SolidWorks drawings, parts and assemblies that are managed by Windchill can now be automatically processed by PSW for creation of PDF and other viewable file formats as well as translated to other CAD formats using the TransMagic or Theorem Solutions interoperability software applications.
PSW was initially developed to process Pro/ENGINEER models to the viewable formats of PDF, ProductView, JT, VRML, HPGL, IGES, ACIS, STEP, STL, Shrink-Wrap, DXF, TIFF, BMP, JPG and EPS formats that PSW currently can output. The application is being expanded to process the additional CAD applications that can be managed by the Windchill Work Group Managers.
PSW has three operating modes.
• Automatic processing on changes of lifecycle and revision or at check-in
• Batch processing
• On Demand processing
