ESI thereby reasserts its commitment to meet challenging international requirements for product realization and quality
PARIS : ESI Group (ESIN FR0004110310), a pioneer and world-leading supplier of digital simulation software for prototyping and manufacturing processes, announced today the ISO 9001:2000 certification by Bureau Veritas of its subsidiary Mecas ESI in the Czech Republic, covering the Middle and Eastern European market. This recognizes a well-implemented Quality Management System (QMS) in both the head office (Plzeň) and two other offices (Brno and Mladá Boleslav) for providing software solutions, training, technical support, and related consultancy in the field of computer simulation of virtual prototype testing and manufacturing.
In 2000, ESI Group obtained a first ISO 9001 certification, in order to meet our customers’ needs throughout an ever-growing network covering more than 30 countries. ESI Group’s goal, by promoting the process approach, is to bring about true customer satisfaction and to meet our customers' expectations for the quality of the products and services that we provide.
This additional certification of Mecas ESI confirms ESI Group’s commitment to meet the challenging, internationally recognized quality requirements for software development and engineering services. Indeed, Mecas ESI’s QMS is a result of the team’s hard work over the past two years towards one objective: develop and maintain a system fully matching quality standards to best support our customers with products of constant quality meeting their expectations.
Mecas ESI’s ISO 9001:2000 certification allows ESI Group’s current and future customers to rely on an even more transparent and reliable solution provider.
"The fundamental prerequisite for any business success is the focus on customers and the fulfilment of their requirements – especially in terms of quality”, declared Karel Luňáček, Management Representative and Managing Director of Mecas ESI. “In today’s competitive market, customer satisfaction has become a crucial element of our business strategy. The ISO 9001:2000 standard positions the customer as the focal point of a process-based Quality Management System, and for this reason, we have decided to be certified according to this standard," he continued.
