Move Represents Significant Strengthening of Company’s Management Team in the Region
FARNBOROUGH, United Kingdom – Autodesk, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADSK) today announced that Pete Baxter has been appointed as senior director, Northern Europe. In this role, Baxter will lead Autodesk’s operations across the Northern Europe region, which comprises the United Kingdom and Ireland; Benelux and the Nordics. He will focus on achieving sustained revenue growth and ensuring that the company works closely with channel partners to deliver added value to customers.

Mark Paraskeva, Autodesk’s new vice president of Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMIA) says: “Pete’s appointment significantly strengthens our senior management team in the region. While he has been with the company, he has developed excellent relationships with our distribution and reseller partners at all levels. In the current rigorous economic environment, the strength of these relationships will be critical in driving new business into the channel.”
Baxter has worked for Autodesk for just over four years, having joined as Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) sales director for Northern Europe. More recently, he added the leadership of Autodesk’s Platform, Geospatial and Plant and Media and Entertainment businesses to his responsibilities across the region.
An architect by profession, Baxter also has inside knowledge of the design software sector having previously worked for Bentley Systems (as international channel director); Parametric Technology Corporation; and Revit, prior to its acquisition by Autodesk.
Baxter holds a BA (Hons), a post-graduate bachelor of architecture (BArch) and a master of civic design (MA) from the University of Liverpool.
