QUEBEC: Elmo Solutions, the leader in CAD-ERP data integration, announces the immediate availability of Agni Link 2009, a live, bidirectional CAD-ERP connector for SolidWorks and Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision), Dynamics AX (Axapta) and other ERP applications.
Agni Link is a companion application to SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD that provides real-time, bidirectional integration with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision). Agni Link is the only application of its kind that offers such a unique and reliable way to unify SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD and Dynamics NAV (Navision) databases. Every time a SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor or AutoCAD document is updated, the user may enter and/or edit data shared between SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor or AutoCAD and Microsoft Dynamics/NAV (Navision) using possible values obtained "live" from Microsoft Dynamics/NAV (Navision). Upon end-user confirmation, data is updated in both the SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor or AutoCAD document and the Microsoft Dynamics/NAV (Navision) database, thus ensuring perfect synchronization of both data sets and completely eliminating redundant data entry. Agni Link 2009 can integrate a wide range of data from either side, including:
* SolidWorks Part, Component and Assembly data
* Autodesk Inventor Part, Component and Assembly data
* AutoCAD entities
* Microsoft Dynamics/NAV (Navision) Bills Of Materials
* Microsoft Dynamics/NAV (Navision) Routing instructions
New features for Release 2009 include, among others:
* Automatic import of ERP BoMs into CAD BoMs
* Ability to work on all BoM levels simultaneously
* Real-time notification of CAD users upon changes to the EPR database
Usually yielding high Return on Investment, Agni Link typically pays for itself in less than 90 days. Elmo Solutions Science Officer, Ricardo Talbot said: "We are pleased - and very proud – to be able to deliver the most advanced and efficient method of sharing SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD and Microsoft Dynamics/NAV (Navision) product data. Our customers’ preliminary response so far has been enthusiastic beyond our expectations, and we are very excited about this new edition of Agni Link. We expect similar response on the upcoming release of Agni Link for MAPICS and Epicor Vantage and Vista."
Agni Link ships in two languages (English and French), and is readily available from Elmo Solutions. Agni Link not only addresses the needs of SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD users, but also those of Microsoft Dynamics/NAV (Navision) users, who share product data with them throughout the enterprise.
