Prof. Ramachandran is BOC Chair Professor of Business Policy at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. A qualified Chartered and Cost Accountant, Professor Ramachandran obtained his doctorate from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. His major research interest is in the area of internationalization of firms from emerging economies. A former member of the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, Professor Ramachandran has been the Harry Reynolds Visiting International Professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania; and a Visiting Professor at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France and the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, USA.
