A NAFEMS Seminar - Coventry, UK - November 26, 2008
At which stage in the design process does your company carry out its CFD analysis?
After the design has been finalised?
After the device has gone into production?
Many companies are missing out on the time and cost savings which CFD can provide simply by not introducing CFD tools early enough in their design process. It makes sense that the major benefit in carrying out a CFD analysis can be found at a stage when it is still practical to make significant changes to the design, yet many companies still only use analysis at a point where making any changes based on the results is too expensive and time consuming to be practical.
Many companies, from industries as diverse as Formula 1, aerospace and telecommunications, are reaping huge benefits from buying into the concept of "Upfront CFD" or "Front-loading" CFD in the design process.
This NAFEMS seminar brings together presentations from the worlds of Indycar , Formula 1 , motion and control, and telecommunications to outline how your company can move, or indeed newly impliment, its CFD processes at an early stage in the design process.
The event features presenters from Renault F1, Rolls-Royce, Alcatel and Parker Hannifin , giving attendees a unique insight into how Simulation Driven Product Development is making a real difference to the design process. Members of NAFEMS can attend this event for free*, as part of their membership package.
