Combined resources, values to strengthen customer service in the Midwest
Buffalo Grove, IL –Computer Aided Technology, Inc., www.cati.com, (CATI) today announced it has acquired the SolidWorks business of reseller QTE Manufacturing Solutions. QTE will concentrate its resources and expertise to further enhance the support of their CAM and inspection software solutions, while CATI will take over the CAD, PDM, and CAE side. The company’s St. Louis and Kansas City, Missouri offices will remain open with several key QTE employees joining the CATI team. The mutual agreement between CATI and QTE will offer the engineering and manufacturing companies in the Midwest unmatched resources and capabilities.
QTE and CATI share a similar history and values. Both companies have built a dedicated customer following, QTE in Missouri, Southern Illinois, and Eastern Kansas; CATI in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Kentucky. Both companies have built a culture around making customers successful in improving their product development and design processes.
