Stanwood, WA - Optimal AEC announces the next release of its flagship product, NetSPEX™, a CAD standards management solution for AutoCAD and MicroStation. Demonstration previews can be seen at this year’s Autodesk University.
The major enhancement in NetSPEX 4.0 is the support of AutoCAD 2006-2008 and MicroStation V8 2004 Edition and V8 XM. Other enhancements build on a mature foundation of software with enterprise-style management principals. NetSPEX 4.0 allows CAD managers to easily develop and edit CAD standards for enterprise-wide distribution in a single- or multi-CAD platform environment.
“Our latest version of NetSPEX is feature-rich in both standards management and standards conformance and placement,” said Garrett Galbreath, President of Optimal AEC. “We think CAD managers and their users will be impressed with the thought we’ve put in to the tools NetSPEX makes available.” Those tools include support for remote and disconnected users, import/export of standards, CAD resource file management, automated standards documentation, layer management, component management, single entry for multiple CAD platforms and others.
Optimal AEC will be showing the latest version of NetSPEX at Autodesk University on December 2-5 in booth 206.
