The report, written by Marc Halpern, identifies vendors who are innovative, impactful, and intriguing.
According to the Gartner, Inc. report, "This year's Cool Vendors in product design and lifecycle management prove that innovative vendors in seemingly mature markets or in niche markets can innovate in ways that create impressive value and potential for rapid growth."
SpaceClaim's 3D Direct Modeling solutions, which saw sales growth of 253% in 2009, are being leveraged for concept modeling, CAE model preparation, and manufacturing in industries including automotive, aerospace, defense, consumer goods and robotics as engineers work towards the goal of simulation-driven product development.
