HOUSTON - COADE announced today that a webinar on PV Elite 2010 is scheduled for January 19, 2010, 12:00 noon CST when participants will learn about enhancements to PV Elite 2010, the company’s popular software for pressure vessel and heat exchanger design and analysis. Webinar leader will be Scott Mayeux, director of development for Pressure Vessel and Exchanger Solutions at COADE. A Mechanical Engineer with 20 years in the engineering and software development field, Mayeux has expertise in vessel and exchanger analysis codes such as WRC, TEMA, API and others.
Webinar discussions will include PV Elite 2010 code updates for ASME Section VIII Div. 1 and Div. 2, WRC and EN-13445 plus new seismic codes for Venezuela (PDVSA) and Chile (NCh2369), updates to the Australian wind and seismic codes and more. New productivity features to be covered include capabilities for modeling and analyzing ear and perpendicular lifting lugs, enhancements for minimum design metal temperature (MDMT) analysis and reporting, and improved compatibility with Microsoft Window 7.
