BUDAPEST – ACCIONA has announced that its R&D department has selected GRAPHISOFT’s ArchiCAD® 13 technology-based BIM/Virtual Building™ software, as a model-based design and documentation productivity solution. ArchiCAD will facilitate the sharing of project files and increase productivity, thereby enhancing competitiveness.
ACCIONA is a pioneer in the use of BIM methodology and management in the construction phase, enabling quick response to quantity take-offs and building solutions, resulting in greater efficiency in control and quality assurance. The budding relationship between ACCIONA and GRAPHISOFT was tested on the new León airport terminal – as builders, ACCIONA used ArchiCAD 13 to check and modify the design throughout the building process.

If at first the transition from the drawing board to CAD was cumbersome as well as technically involved, now the time to take the next step, from CAD to the BIM environment has never been simpler.
