Sweden-based Edge Technology AB, one of the leading suppliers to Nordic countries for CAM, DNC, Tools and Administration stock machines, is teaming with MP Engineering AB, bringing great benefits to its customers.
Edge Technology AB has worked extensively with Edgecam for more than 10 years.
When MP Engineering AB began working with Edgecam the company was greatly impressed with what the software had to offer, and found itself frequently consulting with Edge Technology AB as it worked to create solutions for its customers.
From this great consultancy-based relationship, discussions between the two companies led to the mutual decision that they should form one organization. The newly formed Edge Technology AB combines the knowledge and experience of the Nordic region's two strongest CAM operators with customers benefitting from a broader range of skills and cutting-edge expertise.
The new relationship started formally at the beginning of June 2009 and all staff of MP Engineering's business have been offered employment by Edge Technology AB, making it a company of significant technical breadth and depth.
Edge Technology AB believes that this deal will lead to success for all parties involved: the company, suppliers, staff and most importantly the customers. Anders Brunstrom, CEO for Edge Technology AB, says: “We have worked extensively to plan the transition and believe that we have a great deal to offer both existing customers and new contacts. We now operate from three locations - Kista, Sala and Värnamo and both the latter have great training rooms accommodating up to six candidates per course. This is a very exciting time for both organizations.
