Multiple procurement vehicles add to already rich contract stable and help states fulfill provisions of the Recovery Act through purchase of design innovation technologies.
Herndon, VA - DLT Solutions, Inc., a value-added reseller that supplies government agencies and business customers with state-of-the-art technology products, services and solutions, today announced that it has increased the procurement options available to state and local governments for the purchase of Autodesk® software in 18 states.
Building on its already rich contract stable of state contracts that includes GSA Schedule (GS-35F-4543G), Texas - DIR 513 and 491, and COSTARS, among others, DLT can now ease the procurement of Autodesk's extensive portfolio of 2D and 3D design and engineering software with contract vehicles in additional states including Arizona, Colorado, Ohio, New Jersey, New York, and more.
"With our state and local government experience, we understand the unique needs of each state, especially the need to procure solutions as economically and efficiently as possible," said Jim Helou, Vice President, Autodesk Sales, DLT Solutions.
"DLT is also cognizant that, as the Recovery Act funding is released, it will be critical for government agencies to easily purchase design innovation technologies that directly address the key initiatives of the Act including sustainable building, transportation and utility infrastructure projects. That's one of the reasons that we initiated and secured contracts in those specific states," continued Jim Helou.
To help state and local agencies understand how IT and digital design solutions can help the fast-tracking of "shovel-ready" projects, DLT has created a Recovery Act Web portal that provides insight into how the economic stimulus affects each government agency and tools that can help them administer and implement the provisions of the Act.
