SHEFFIELD – Sheffield-based MachineWorks Ltd, supplier of CNC simulation and verification software solutions, is now recruiting. MachineWorks is expanding and looking for new candidates to join our development team.
“MachineWorks is a growing business. We have been working on new technologies which will enable us to provide a wider range of functionality as well as developing new markets by offering customised solutions. We have reached a point now where we need to recruit highly skilled and motivated individuals in order to continue supporting our customers and prospects to MachineWorks’ usual first-class standards”, says David Manley, Managing Director of MachineWorks.
MachineWorks’ development team has been growing over the last 15 years since we pioneered the market for embedded simulation by offering the first true solid model simulation. MachineWorks’ simulation solution allowed CAM software manufacturers to provide integrated simulation as core functionality in their applications. Embedded simulation soon became a “must-have” for mainstream CAM applications. Nowadays over 60% of the CAM applications in the world have integrated MachineWorks’ simulation and verification features inside their applications.
MachineWorks has led a similar shift in the market for embedded simulation on conversational controllers from 2D or wire-frame to full machine simulation with material removal. Over the last decade, the increasing complexity of machining, particularly on multitasking machines, demands more sophisticated simulation to allow engineers on the shop floor to be reassured that their programming/editing is error-free before running of the machine and for operators to have a visual check of what's happening at any point in the machine cycle .
