Cadac Organice, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and developer of Organice, a SharePoint based engineering document management solution, has received an order from Oceanco for the implementation of Organice. Oceanco will use Organice to create a structure working method for managing their documents.
Oceanco is one of the world’s finest yacht builders. After a sound selection process for the selection of a document management system, Oceanco has chosen Organice. Organice Explorer will be used by especially the Engineering Department to manage and archive CAD drawings, documents and e-mail correspondence. Simon Hensen, Manager Engineering: “We expect to create a structured and clear working method with Organice for the availability and management of our documents and to control our internal and external document flows. This should result in an effective and efficient business process for Oceanco and the many subcontractors and suppliers that we collaborate with. We have chosen Organice because it is successfully used by many other large companies, because of its modular structure and functional extensions, and the applicability of the software, and not only for our Engineering Department but also for other departments within our organization.”
Cadac Organice BNL BV, distributor of Organice in Belgium and the Netherlands, is responsible for the implementation of Organice. In addition to providing the necessary Organice licenses, Cadac Organice BNL also supports Oceanco with the installation and implementation of the software (the Microsoft SharePoint project environment and the Organice Product Suite) and with the configuration of the project environment.
