Delcam has announced further expansion of its Canadian team in order to better serve its expanding customer base in the country. Aaron Kennette has joined the Technical Support group based in Windsor, Ontario, while John Sare is joining the Toronto Sales group covering Central and Northern Ontario.
Aaron has spent the past 12 years running a variety of 3-, 5- and 6-axis machines tools to produce highly-complex moulds for the plastic industry. His real-world experience in programming with Delcam software at one of the top five mouldmakers in North America will make him an excellent addition to the existing support team.
John Sare joins the Sales group covering Central and Northern Ontario after more than 29 years in manufacturing industry. This included the last two years working in business development for Delcam in Europe, after ten years of managing sales channels and machine tool relationships for Gibbs and Associates. John brings a wealth of knowledge of global manufacturing to the team. In particular, his experience of working with leading machine-tool manufacturers will help companies that wish to make more effective use of their machine tools and streamline their processes.
"Since taking over the Greater Toronto area direct, Delcam has increased the Toronto office staff from one salesman to three and added two application engineers. Increasing our sales team in Toronto has been greatly influenced by the sheer volume of companies interested in moving to Delcam’s complete software suite to boost productivity, improve quality and reduce lead times,” said Mark Cadogan VP Delcam Sales North America.
