Kubotek USA makes Donation to Ivy Tech Community College

MARLBOROUGH, Mass - Kubotek USA has agreed to donate 25 seats of KeyCreator 9.0 to Ivy Tech Community College. KeyCreator will be used as part of the Advanced Manufacturing curriculum to introduce students to solid modeling. KeyCreator will aid in the instruction and comprehension of engineering drawing standards and interpretation in a CAD software environment. The donation is valued at close to $110,000.

Scott Sweeney, Vice President, Kubotek USA states, “KeyCreator 3D Direct Modeling is ideal for teaching CAD modeling. KeyCreator allows students to focus on design and not on how a specific software package works.”

“We are strongly committed to education, particularly in the Engineering and Manufacturing areas,” says Mark Parent, COO, Kubotek USA. “We believe the key to a strong US economy is a well-educated manufacturing force.”

Ivy Tech Community College is the nation's largest state-wide community college with single accreditation. It is Indiana’s largest public post-secondary institution serving more than 130,000 students a year. The Advanced Manufacturing program is designed to prepare students for the modern manufacturing environment and is only one of more than 150 programs and concentrations offered.
