GoEngineer Signs On As New Stratasys Reseller

GoEngineer Inc., a leading reseller of product design software, today announced a partnership with Stratasys Inc. to provide rapid prototyping and 3D printing solutions for customers looking to leverage investments in 3D design technology.

Stratasys is a leading manufacturer of 3D printers offering computer aided design (CAD) users a low-cost, networked alternative for printing functional 3D models from the desktop. The printers build models layer-by-layer using ABSplus(TM), one of the most widely used thermoplastics in today's injection-molded products. Stratasys uses its FDM technology in its Dimension 3D Printers and uPrint Personal 3D Printer, as well as its Fortus 3D Production Systems (developed for direct digital manufacturing and precision rapid prototyping).

Backed by 25 years of experience, GoEngineer serves more than 4,000 U.S.-based customers. The signing is significant because 3D mechanical designs are the most common sources of rapid prototyping and 3D printing. GoEngineer draws from the collective knowledge of more than 10,000 SolidWorks(R) users.

"In signing with Stratasys, GoEngineer partners with another market leader supporting our mission of providing our customers access to industry-leading vendors and solutions," said Ken Coburn, president of GoEngineer. "We are confident this is an appropriate choice for customers to produce innovative product designs quickly."

"WeaEUR(TM)re excited to have GoEngineer represent us in Northern California," said Jon Cobb, vice president of marketing for Stratasys. "With the company's 25-year history of sales and service, GoEngineer is well-positioned to help customers improve their design and manufacturing functions with Stratasys' industry-leading FDM technology."
