Frankfurt - Solido3D has launched the new SD300 Pro 3D printer at the Euromold 2009 exhibition. With the new SD300 Pro, high quality 3D printing is finally accessible to every MCAD engineer, design professional, and hobbyist. Eliminating the need for expensive service bureaus, the SD300 Pro will increase productivity and yield great savings for any firm. Solido3D is challenging well-established standards with the release of the SD300 Pro, and is making 3D modeling more available than ever.
Solido3D now offers three packages that bundle the SD300 Pro with modeling kits. The new SD300 Pro now starts at just €2,950 when purchased as part of the Platinum Value Pack for heavy users. Solido3D’s Premium and Gold Plans also offer the SD300 Pro at never-before-seen prices, €3,950 and €5,950 respectively. The customer oriented options were implemented to permit flexibility during the decision making process. Customers may upgrade from the Premium Plan to the Platinum Value package until February 28th, 2010.
“We believe our new product and pricing concept redefines the competitive landscape of the additive manufacturing industry,” says Itzik Marchand, Solido3D CEO. “Our unique bundle of 3D printer and modeling kits significantly reduces total cost of ownership, breaks entry barriers, and will attract new customers to the 3D arena. After years of testing the SD300 Pro at beta sites around the world, I am confident in the quality of our solution and committed to providing our customers with superior service.”
A New Standard in Price/Performance and Environmental Responsibility
Solido3D has focused its efforts on creating a new paradigm of price performance. Technological innovations have made the SD300 Pro a faster and more accurate machine than its beta site predecessor at a lower cost to the end user. The SD300 Pro produces transparent models, “living hinges”, and requires no post build curing. More affordable than ever, Solido3D’s value proposition is based on revolutionary pricing, outstanding quality, and environmentally responsible recycling practices.
Major Investment in New Manufacturing Facilities
The company’s recently expanded state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Asia deliver increased capacity to meet growing demand, as well as superior quality control and the most modern automated design and assembly processes available.
Solido3D has signed agreements with the world’s leading distributors in the industry, expanding its global sales network. In addition, over 50 representative offices span the world. The focused network is dedicated to delivering top tier service and support – wherever the customer may be.
“Think Green”
As part of its new global environmental policy, every SD300 Pro modeling kit ships with a prepaid recycling kit. This enables designers and engineers to easily send the PVC waste to the company for free recycling.
Solido3D has grown exponentially – welcoming a cadre of seasoned industry professionals to its managerial ranks and Board of Directors. With the addition of several of the most sought after thought leaders in the industry, including Scott Harris, co-founder of SolidWorks, Vic Leventhal, the ex-COO of SolidWorks, and Jason Barzilay, founder of Packard Bell Computers, Solido3D has the depth of management to set the pace and support its affordable and groundbreaking desktop 3D printing innovations.
