Ottawa, ON: Technology veteran Richard Nasmith has joined ShapeGrabber as Vice President Sales with global responsibility for revenue generation.
Mr. Nasmith’s 23-year career in sales, marketing and business development has included the development of international sales and channels. Prior to joining ShapeGrabber, Richard was Vice President Sales and Marketing at KOM Networks. At Binnacle Solutions, he led sales, marketing and operations functions, increasing the company’s revenues well over 100%. At PCI Geomatics, he led the transformation of the company’s international sales organization and successfully grew sales, profitability and ROI. At Harris Corporation, he set record sales levels within the Harris3M and Lanier divisions.
Richard was selected to lead the Canadian Institute of Geomatics and the Geomatics Industry association of Canada as CEO. He has been a technology advisor to the Minister of Natural Resources Canada and has been an advisory board member for the Canadian Space Agency, Industry Canada and many public and private sector boards.
