Carlson Survey Embedded AutoCAD® Version Released

MAYSVILLE, Ky – Carlson Software’s new release of Carlson Survey 2010 Embedded AutoCAD® delivers a combined package of Carlson’s feature-rich, intuitive surveying office software with the latest AutoCAD engine.

The 2010 version is the latest edition in the long line of Carlson Survey together with AutoCAD OEM that began in 1997. There are more than 100 new and improved routines based on user input in this latest version. Some of the major new upgrades include:

* Built-on the AutoCAD 2010 OEM engine with AutoCAD 2010 dwg support
* Added all of the C&G Survey commands
* New smart annotation rules
* Document management with new Data Depot
* Settings management with new Settings Explorer
* Draw items to standards with a National CAD Standards library included

Carlson Survey 2010 can be used along with Carlson SurvCE data collection for seamless office and field operations for sharing data files, field-to-finish coding, and COGO functions by using the identical data and settings files. Carlson Survey 2010 also supports all other major data collectors with data transfer and conversions.

The Carlson Survey 2010 Embedded AutoCAD version comes with the AutoCAD OEM engine built-in. This product is in addition to Carlson Survey 2010, a module of the Carlson 2010 office product line that comes with IntelliCAD® 6.6 built-in, and also runs on AutoCAD/Map/Civil3D, versions 2000 and up.
