Innovative parametric design for simplified drawing and easy revisions.
Parametric drawing, with two styles of parametric (geometric and dimensional) constraints that allow associative design and editing of objects, will radically redefine the way you design in 2D by dramatically improving accuracy and reducing editing time.
A multitude of new drawing tools such as Table, Field, MLeader, PDF Plotter and Solprof.
Use PDF Plotter to convert your drawing directly into PDF format, the most widely used universal electronic document format. Create 2D images of your models with Solprof and greatly reduce the time it takes to convert your model into 2D drawing format. Table functionality creates tables with the power and functionality like Microsoft Excel. You can import your existing data from Microsoft Excel to ZWCAD table or export the data from ZWCAD table to Microsoft Excel file. MLeader can help to create MLeader objects to label different objects used with more control and flexibility. You can place a leader object in two different ways, content first or head first, and define your style, so multiple leaders are consistent throughout your drawing. Field is an updatable text that to display data that may change during the life cycle of the drawing. With all these efficient new functionalities in ZWCAD 2011, your work can become more productive.
Enhanced tools like Snap, Refedit, Raster Image, Dimension Break and Online Help.
Snap has gained a new enhancement (Magnet) to increase the efficiency for click and snap designing. With object highlight, when cursor rolls over objects meant to be selected are highlighted to help you select precisely, which is useful when dealing with complex drawing. Dimension Break provides a much needed visual enhancement to your drawing views by removing sections of dimension lines where they intersect object lines. Refedit has been reconstructed to enhance and improve the function. The speed of inserting raster images has been markedly improved. ZWCAD 2011 is now supported by Online Help (currently available in four languages: Simplified and Traditional Chinese, English and Japanese) with real time updates and online tutorials. All enhancements in functionalities above are purposed to provide you better working experience.
ZRX, the ZWCAD Runtime Extension, is also greatly improved in ZWCAD 2011, including new classes for UI, transaction and so on. With regard to LISP, we have added a batch of new visual LISP functions, such as VLR-, VLAX- and VL-functions.
