The MathWorks Introduces MATLAB and Simulink Products to Keio University Campus-Wide

The MathWorks announced today that Keio University in Japan has adopted the Total Academic Headcount (TAH) license for the MATLAB and Simulink product families.

The Faculty of Science and Technology located on Yagami Campus has been the principal user of a number of MATLAB and Simulink products alongside other departments such as medicine and economics. The TAH license enables the university to manage MATLAB and Simulink products centrally rather than through individual departments and campuses. The license provides all students and faculty members working within a broad spectrum of disciplines, such as engineering, medicine, psychology, finance, and biotechnology, access to MATLAB and Simulink and related products from on-campus computers.

“I am pleased that Keio University has acquired the TAH license for MATLAB and Simulink products,” said Jun Murai, professor, Faculty of Environment and Information Studies at Keio University. “Having the command of numerical analysis, modeling, simulation, and analytical tools on computers is a vital building block to intellectual activity. It is my hope that the acquisition of the TAH license will infuse the entire university with new strength and vigor.”
