ICEM Surf, one of the systems for Class A surface modelling, has announced the avialability of ICEM Surf 4.8.1
Horst Vogt - Marketing Manager EMEA, ICEM Technologies GmbH said "There’s always something to do – especially when it comes to the requests and suggestions for improvements that drive us at ICEM Technologies to continuously improve ICEM Surf. With the new release, all ICEM Surf users with a valid maintenance contract get access to the results of our latest development work."
"We have focused on fixing defects that enable improvements in productivity in Unified Modeling and defects related to stability, such as the saving compressed data models, repeated turning on and off of slices, selection of geometric elements for deletion has been eliminated etc," he added.
Collaboration with external partners and other departments in companies has also been made easier in ICEM Surf 4.8.1 through, for example, the improved IGES import function, and the availability of the ICEM Surf IDEAS interface.
You can use this service release with your existing license file of ICEM Surf 4.8.0. A new license file is not required.
