LMS International, the leader in test and mechatronic system simulation, today announces the Rev11 release of its flagship product for system simulation, LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim. Keep up with Rev11 on the fast track to system engineering improvement, with increased support for industry-oriented applications, dedicated libraries, tools and demonstrators, superior ergonomics and usability, and openness to external software and platform interfacing.
LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim Rev 11: solid proof of LMS’ commitment to industry-specific needs.
The hundreds of major industrial client references definitely show that LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim knows how to deal with ever-evolving customer needs. LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim Rev11 confirms this trend, with several new features and improvements specifically addressing requests from the automotive, aerospace and mechanical industries.
For the automotive market, LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim Rev 11 strengthens LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim transmission applications, with new Dual Mass Flywheel components and a much larger suit of vehicle models, including cars, motorbikes, buses, trucks, tanks and trailers. Substantial progress has also been made in the engine domain, with the new Model Test Bench for effective engine characterization, modeling and comparison/validation against test data, and combustion fitting tools for advanced and comprehensive combustion model calibration.
An important step forward is made also for chassis and vehicle dynamics aspects, with the introduction of complete demonstrators aimed at balancing fuel economy and vehicle dynamics. The performance of the heat exchanger assembly tool and the two phase flow/air conditioning libraries, in vehicle thermal management area, have also undergone considerable improvement.
LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim Rev 11 also catches Aerospace market’s attention with its new development library for Aerospace with dedicated components and demonstrators. Rev 11 allows for simplified thermal condition definition and performance analysis for the aircraft cabin as well as for further investigation in the More Electrical Aircrafts domain; two new turbo-shaft demonstrators are provided to integrate power source modeling and simulation for enhanced virtual integrated aircraft analysis.
No need for second guessing with Rev 11’s user-friendly, intuitive and off-the-shelves capabilities
LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim Rev 11 was developed keeping ergonomics, usability and data processing ease in mind. In LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim, usability also means multi-level modeling: Rev 11 drastically improves its super-component management and encryption, and includes additional documentation, new video tutorials and manuals to the package.
LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim Rev 11 offers an increased number of components to support more applications and extended physical modeling, with more and more accuracy in the software-embedded physics for the thermal, fluid, electrical and mechanical domains.
The due attention has also been devoted to the data processing tools through addition of new customizable plot styles and faster analyzing capabilities.
Reaching out to a wider simulation and real-time world
CAE software interfacing and links to Controls Engineering are still part of LMS priorities and Rev 11 proves this with its enhanced Modelica, real-time and interfacing capabilities.
LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim is now compatible with the Functional Mock-up Interface (FMI) which eases the exchanges with other tools.
And still, release after release, LMS continues to improve support of the Modelica Specification and related MSL (Modelica Standard Library): with Rev 11, LMS engineers take even more MSL use cases into consideration.
Last but not least, LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim Rev 11 embeds a simplified workflow to connect LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim to Simulink and enables export of multiple LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim models to a real-time domain.
