Dane Moorefield Named to "Women of the Channel" List. Jeff Zobrist Named to "100 People You Don’t Know But Should in the Channel" List.
Siemens PLM Software today announced that Everything Channel’s CRN Magazine named Dane Moorefield to its “Women of the Channel” list and Jeff Zobrist to its “100 People You Don’t Know But Should in the Channel” list.
This recognition comes on the heels of Siemens PLM Software being awarded CRN’s 5-Star Partner rating for the fifth year in a row and its Vice President for Global Solution Partner Sales, Kerry Grimes, receiving his fourth consecutive Channel Chief Award (see separate release). The recognition placed Siemens PLM Software’s Channel Partner Program among top enterprise software companies.
The “100 People You Don’t Know But Should in the Channel” list recognizes individuals who are responsible for driving the behind-the-scenes-efforts in channel operations and sales. The “Women of the Channel” list honors female channel executives who epitomize success within the IT channel. Everything Channel recognizes the top 100 women of the channel who have reached the highest levels of the corporate ladder based on their achievements and the amount of influence they wield over the technology industry.
"The first annual list of '100 People You Don't Know But Should' recognizes the behind-the-scenes influencers within a vendor organization who are making a significant impact on the company's channel program, and the channel as a whole, by working in any capacity necessary to drive profit and success,” said Kelley Damore, Vice President, Editorial Director, Everything Channel. "While solution providers may already be aware of a vendor's Channel Chief, many are still unaware of the individuals behind the chiefs; the home office shot callers responsible for delivering a successful channel program. Many of these individuals lead the way without recognition, and yet they have made a significant impact in driving the success of their channel program.”
“This year’s Women of the Channel list honors those female executives who epitomize success within the IT channel – a traditionally male-centric industry. Whether they come from tier-one vendors, VAR500 solution providers or just bring a bevy of channel experience that cannot be ignored, the 2011 Women of the channel list will recognize the most influential women of the channel based on their overall achievements, and their influence in the technology industry,” added Damore.
“These awards are particularly gratifying because they recognize the success of our channel program, strong channel performance and enhancements of our partner program elements,” said Grimes. “Dane and Jeff are helping Siemens PLM Software change the game in the industry. Our channel program continues to increase in strength, capabilities and innovation thanks to the dedication and hard work of our channel team. Teamed with world-class channel partners, we are extending PLM into the large and fast growing mid-market. Just as PLM has evolved to meet the growing demands of businesses, so has our channel program.”
