Moore Brings Complementary Expertise to the Company That Enables Innovation in Simulation Models of AMS IC Designs.
PORTLAND, Ore - Lynguent®, Inc., a privately-held company which enables innovation in simulation models of analog/mixed-signal (AMS) IC designs, has added Errol Moore to its board of directors. Moore, who is corporate vice president and manager of Orbotech, San Jose and president of Photon Dynamics, served for 28 years at Motorola in various divisions as corporate vice president, vice president, director and manager.
Lynquent is continuing to develop its line of ModLyng™ Design and Verification Studios brought to market over the past four years. The company has a unique product line that differentiates it from any of its competition: its graphical simulation modeling capability spans both analog and digital IC design. This accelerates model creation and simulation of complex systems and circuits by a factor of at least 10. Moore’s expertise will complement that of the present board officers which include Dave Crivelli, L.B. Day, Martin Vlach and Sam Young.
“When I was asked to join Lynguent’s board of directors I immediately went into research mode,” said Moore. “What I discovered about the company, its team and the technology made me very excited about its prospects. I jumped at the chance to be a part of it. Analog and mixed/signal designs continue to increase so demand for Lynguent’s unique solution, which speeds up these designs, can only increase also. I am very much looking forward to being a part of this.”
“Errol is just the type of person we need on our board,” said Sam Young, president and CEO of Lynguent. “He is very enthusiastic and the experience he gained while at Motorola will be invaluable to us as we penetrate deeper into the semiconductor market with our products. He brings broad management skills as well as an extensive semiconductor expertise that he has developed over more than 30 years in the industry.”
