Extensible CAD Technologies has developed InspectionXpert for AutoCAD and InspectionXpert for Solid Edge. InspectionXpert for AutoCAD and InspectionXpert for Solid Edge enable users to create quality inspection documentation for first-article inspections directly from inside of AutoCAD or Solid Edge, respectively.
Quality inspection report forms are exported from either AutoCAD or Solid Edge directly to Microsoft Excel using user-customizable templates to control the format.Inspection balloons are added to the inspection characteristics on the AutoCAD or Solid Edge drawing.
InspectionXpert for AutoCAD and InspectionXpert for Solid Edge join InspectionXpert for SolidWorks and InspectionXpert First-Article as high ROI software applications for automating the time-consuming process of generating quality inspection forms and ballooned drawings.
Both applications are slated for release on July 22nd, 2009.
