Farmington Hills, Michigan: CCE announces the opening of a new office in Reading, United Kingdom (UK) to support its growing engineering services business. Operating out of Michigan, New Jersey, South Carolina, Chicago in the US, and Chennai in India, CCE has been in an expansion mode for the last four years. CCE has invested in increasing its India engineering capacity four-fold in this period. CCE plans to significantly increase its worldwide presence in 2009, with offices planned in other US cities and Europe.
Amit Batra, an experienced business development executive, will head CCE’s UK office. Amit will be offering CCE’s proven and field-tested strategic outsourcing model for mechanical design and engineering services, to companies with operations in the UK. “I am excited about this opportunity. I am looking forward to leverage my knowledge to help clients use offshore resources to accelerate innovation and increase productivity.” said Amit. “I am confident CCE’s highly successful model of outsourcing with a dedicated offshore team, supported by local engineering services management, and utilizing CCE’s proprietary web-based work order management system PowerLink to communicate and manage the work, will be extremely effective in the UK just as it has in US.” adds Amit.
