· 5-Axis cycles now check linear limits to alert users if their selected machine is unable to produce a specific feature
· New enhancements to Automatic Feature Recognition (AFR) within Solid Machinist resulting in faster automated programming and optimized cycle time while retaining flexibility for individual changes
Also featured at IMTS will be Edgecam Probing, an intuitive and powerful tool for automatically generating and simulating spindle probing routines for horizontal and vertical machining centers direct from CAD geometry, and Edgecam Strategy Manager, a process that captures and automates your best machining practice for constant repeatability and optimized results for today demanding manufacturing marketplace.
