Productivity Increases with Simultaneous Pan, Zoom and Rotate
WESTMINSTER, CO - TransMagic Inc., the leading developer of precise, easy-to-use 3D data exchange software, today announced that 3Dconnexion's 3D mice will be supported in TransMagic R8.
TransMagic R8 will introduce many productivity enhancements including the incorporation of 3Dconnexion's 3D mice, sometimes referred to as SpaceBalls. By pushing, pulling and tilting a 3D mouse, TransMagic users will be able to simultaneously pan, zoom and rotate 3D objects without stopping to select individual commands.
"As one of the few 3D data translation applications with a graphical user interface, it was logical to support 3Dconnexion devices to enhance viewing capabilities and ultimately increase the productivity of our customers," said Craig Dennis, CTO of TransMagic. "The beauty of 3D mice is that they greatly simplify the tasks of visual inspection and model orientation when using TransMagic’s sophisticated repair tools with complex parts and assemblies."
3Dconnexion’s 3D mice integrate seamlessly with TransMagic’s workflow providing an intuitive 3D data exchange work experience. Engineers who spend time with complex 3D models can increase productivity with the ability to navigate models in all three dimensions simultaneously, using six degrees of freedom.
TransMagic reduces the costs of translating, repairing and repurposing design data for use in 3D applications.
