PITTSBURGH, PA - Quantapoint , a laser scanning pioneer and innovator for more than 15 years, is pleased to announce the opening of its new office in Los Angeles, California. The office -- located at 400 Continental Boulevard -- is part of Quantapoint's strategic growth initiative and will provide greater capacity to meet the significant demand for laser scanning technology and services. This comes four months after Quantapoint opened an office in Houston, Texas and is Quantapoint's third office within the United States.
According to John R. Wilson, President and CEO of Quantapoint, "Quantapoint has performed many projects on the west coast, including a multi-year project in which we are scanning an entire refinery. The new Los Angeles office highlights our ongoing commitment to the west coast due to its concentration of engineering firms, chemical plants and refineries. It is a key part of Quantapoint's strategic growth initiative, which also includes a greater focus on international partnerships and increased development of next-generation laser scanning technology and services."
Added James McGill, Vice-president of Marketing at Quantapoint, "During these tough economic times, many companies are looking for new ways to increase their efficiency and reduce costs. Quantapoint's new Los Angeles office will help west coast engineering firms and facility owner-operators significantly beat project costs and schedules."
